The Department of Biochemistry was established when the Institute was established in 2021. We conduct academic activities for Undergraduates (MBBS), medical research, patient care, and paramedic training. The vision of the department is to empower future medical professionals with cutting-edge Biochemistry education, fostering innovative learning and critical thinking. We aim to equip Indian Medical Graduates (IMGs) with the knowledge and skills to excel in patient care, advance healthcare solutions, and lead transformative changes in medical science globally.

For Undergraduates, we conduct theory and practical classes as per the NMC, and CBME guidelines. Innovative teaching methods include case-based learning, problem-based learning, early clinical exposure, flipped classrooms, quizzes, seminars, integrated seminars, projects, assignments, concept maps, and small and large group discussions. Students are also introduced to the research field. They participate in various All India-level Quiz and other competitions.

The CCL, Biochemistry laboratory provides 24 x 7 hours of diagnostic services

Our faculty are engaged in research related to basic, clinical, medical education, and other fields. Undergraduate students are also encouraged to join the faculty as part of the research activity to learn.

The department regularly conducts CMEs, workshops, and training sessions to ensure continuous learning. Faculty members and Lab technicians consistently participate in training programs, CMEs, and Conferences to stay updated.
